Dear It is, indeed, a matter
of great pleasure for us that you are an illustrious Alumnus of St. Andrew's College,
a premier educational institution of Eastern U.P. The public image of a college
is mirrored in its past students who serve the country in various arena of life.
Students of a college, therefore, become and integral part of its aims and aspirations
and as such they have to contribute their mite to its overall progress.
Keeping in view this important role of our past students, we have endeavored to
revitalize the College Alumni Association so that it may play its meaningful role
in the fast changing scenario and moot new ideas in the field of education. This
Alumni Association provides a common platform for the old students of the College
and facilitates exchange of views and ideas among them on vital college matter.
Besides the annual function on last Sunday of November, we also bring out a news
bulletin (magazine) once a year to acquaint you with latest developments in the
college. This provides an opportunity to establish rapport with your old friends
through printed pages. We also on honor meritorious students of the college by
giving them prizes at our Annual function.
To execute all our plans we need funds which are raised from the interest accrued
to the bank fixed deposit made on the amount collected as the life membership
fee from the College Alumni. We sincerely hope that you will co-operate with us
in this stupendous task and fill up the life membership form and send us your
fee of Rs. 250/- by MO, Bank Draft or Cheque (Rs. 280/- for out station cheques).
We also request you to apprise all other College Alumni/AE known to you, of all
our plans in this regard and forward their postal address to us.
We shall appreciate if you kindly send your reminiscences, articles with photographs
and achievements for publication in our news bulletin (Magazine).
